Late January and The Snow is Nearly Gone Again...

This has been a strange winter they tell us; the most snow we've had at any one time was about seven inches. All together we've probably received close to two feet of snow. It's now Febuary 1st and we've been cutting a little firewood during the 50 degree days we've been having. We're sure to see much more snow, however, we can still make the most of the nice weather while it's here.

Mike picked up a new addition to the equipment inventory and he's been having a great time. He loves his new tractor...and Iris thinks his tractor's sexy...well, not really, but that's a great song.

Mike's been enjoying cutting and splitting firewood...he even split some of it by hand...yes, we do have a hydraulic splitter. Iris keeps it hauled and stacked. Ah!, the fresh air and exercise that living in the mountains gives us.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!
