Another Touch of Snow!

December 9th...just a little more snow...only about five inches but oh, how beautiful. We're amazed at how it snows then warms up nicely and melts, waits a week or two and snows "a little bit" again. Nothing like central Idaho where once it gets cold, it's cold, whether it snows or not. They told us this was a banana belt...time will tell. We can guarantee that it's nothing like the "banana belt" in Ecuador...but we like it just the same.

I'm not sure just what was scatching on the frozen pond but this is a little larger than my hand and I'm a pretty big guy...maybe it's Yogi???

We are really enjoying our time here. Iris has had to do a little traveling so Mike has gotten to realize that after being with his sweet companion virtually every day for a few years that being alone isn't what he prefers. How could any single person be a caretaker out here in the wilderness...and not start talking to himself? :)
